Vocal Exam January 27th 2012

Exams for this year will occur the week of January 23-27, 2012

Monday-Thursday
Each student will be tested on  performance of the technical requirements, cover song and original song. during this week.

Friday
Theory Exam  at 8:55 am-10:30 am in room 4

Please make sure you sign up for a spot on the board for your performance exam by friday.

 

Week of October 3-7

Monday  Music Council meeting at lunch

Tuesday   Concert Band- not so much

Wednesday  Coffee House auditions at lunch

Thursday   Choir

Friday Commencement Rehearsal
Be there at 6: 20 pm , sing at 6:30 pm and O Canada at 7 pm.

Week of September 26th, 2011

Monday
Music Council- great meeting, thank-you for the Coffee House Posters.

Tuesday- Concert Band,
Disappointing turn out today, therefore we didn't have a rehearsal, Thanks to one person who showed dedication today, I appreciate you very much!
Looks like there's a Jazz Trio in the making, good stuff!

Wednesday Free practice day at lunch

Thursday- Choir
New music to listen and try sight singing
Please come out and participate

Friday- Free practice day

KDSS Co-Curricular September 2011

We had a great first week of rehearsals,and I hope to see more students come out and participate in music this year.

This the schedule for this September

Monday 19, Music Council @ 12 noon, Riley had a great idea for a fundraiser, working on a letter to businesses in our town.

Tuesday 20  Concert Band  Sight Reading ( Please look over our parts before the rehearsal)
      1.Festive Flutes
      2. Celebration
      3. Two other pieces from the green book which you'll get on tuesday! =)

Wednesday 21, nothing , have a great day!

Thursday 22  Choir
1.  Travellin' Soldier ( make sure all can sing the verses correctly)
2. In Flanders Fields ( listen  to recording and figure out main melody)
3. For Good from Wicked, listen to song and try to sing along with the recording)

Friday 23 nothing going on, have a great weekend!
